The Wait

It was 365 days exactly from the day I received the vision & longing to operate as JL, to the day that I completed the State of Texas forms filing JL as legit. Throughout that year, I saw God show up timely in the form of closed deals, new connections, & opportunities. I trusted till it hurt, & then I trusted some more.

My previous employer did not always pay on time or at all. The strained finances were becoming more strained, the relationships stretched, & then a “Calm in the Storm” moment occurred. During this time I was learning the value of humility & trust. I did not have the “Wind in my Sails” employer I had been praying for but I knew that their was a lesson to be learned & growth to be had.

On Aug 19, 2019 I remember looking in my journal back to the previous year and it came flooding back. My employer & I parted ways, which freed me to run down this path. I had a half dozen or more clients that had been requesting for my colleagues & I to begin our own firm. Today was the day, & everything would be down hill from here, right?
